Back in 2000, I started a project related Palm OS. At the time, there wasn't any quick and easy way to convert web pages into .DOC (pdb) format. I combined the way IE allowing sidebar plugin and an open source text 2 pdb conversion program into a single solution. I was using it myself and later allow people to download and use it for free. After 9 years now, I need to retire the software; meaning I will not up work on it anymore. It this is any interest to you, you can still download it at http://www.camelot.net/software/ie2pdb.htm . The latest version still works on my IE7 + WinXP SP2 machine. (you need to restart the computer after installation).
As a memento, I've capture a screen shot as I last saw the download count. The rating is not bad either at the time... Not sure what it is now after years of "not" upgrading though. Sorry folks... The true is I can't even find the right source code after these many years. :-)
